ABC's Extended Version

I know that I already posted a video very similar to this, but in this one you get to hear the entire ABC's several times, plus watch Blake fall and jump around on the bed. Poor little Addie is just along for the ride.

As I am posting this, Blake sees it and runs into our room to go reenact it! He hops up onto the bed, starts jumping, then gets off real quick, saying, "me need my hat, like picture" and runs to get his hat, so the scenario will now be the same!

Happy 2 Month Birthday

Little Addie is already two months old, wow! Just noticed that she is starting to roll onto her side. Here is a picture to show you, but kind of a weird angle. Nonetheless, she is growing more and more each day and getting sweeter by the minute.

Friends & Sleeping

I am so happy to share with you how well my baby girl has been sleeping!!! For the past several nights, she has slept 5-7 hours straight each night and is still sleeping bunches during the day too. This is so wonderful to be happening so quickly!

Also, my best friends, Brook and Colleen, from high school came to visit. Even though it was absolutely frigid outside, we still had a fantastic time together inside. Lots of quality time with the little ones. Thanks girls!

Our conversation this afternoon...we were looking at a box of wipes and there is a picture of a mom holding a baby.
Blake said, "Mommy."
I said "Is that your mommy?"
Blake responded, "No, me mommy right here." (pointing to me)
I said, "Awe, that makes me so happy, thank you." So he says it again and I smile.
Then he said, "Candy?"
I laughed hard and said, "Oh, you think since you made mommy happy, that you deserve candy?"
And predictably, he responded with, "Yes!"
So I caved and gave into my adorable little man, but keep in mind that "candy" is a pack of about 6 bite-sized gummy, fruit snacks...but Blake thinks they are heaven!

We then proceeded to go to the cleaners about 5 minutes later and the lady behind the counter handed Blake his first lollipop, which he thought was oh so delicious!

What a lucky little stinker!!!

Just following directions

Blake is yet again smothering his baby sister with kisses, but this time he is just doing what the shirt says! Notice she is sitting up on the couch, what a big girl.

Family of Four Christmas

And just like that, we are now a family of four! We celebrated our first Christmas with Adelyn yesterday. Even though she slept through all of the festivities, we sure enjoyed having her there. Blake had so much fun opening all of his gifts from Santa, plus putting the cookies and milk out the night before for Santa.

It's A Girl!!!

Little Miss Adelyn "Addie" Grace popped out right on schedule, December 3 at 1:14 pm. She weighed 7 pounds and was 20 inches long. She is so very precious and so tiny, we are very in love with her. Big brother Blake is also in love with her very much, he is constantly giving her kisses. We are one big happy family!

Today is the first day that mommy is completely on her own...so far so good!
